 JI leader narrowly escapes suicide attack in Balochistan: Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) leader Sirajul Haq narrowly escaped a suicide attack targeting his convoy in Zhob, Balochistan. Six people were injured in the attack, but Haq remained unharmed. The body of the suicide attacker was found at the blast site.


Police officer martyred in attack on polio team in Kali Kariz: A police officer was martyred in an attack on a polio team in Kali Kariz, a suburban area of Mastung district in Balochistan. The gunmen opened fire on the team, killing the police officer assigned to protect them.


Brother of Senator injured in firing incident: In a firing incident in Quetta, the brother of Senator Manzoor Khan Kakar and another individual were injured when unknown gunmen opened fire on them. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.


Soldier martyred in exchange of fire with terrorists in Bajaur: A soldier of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom during an intense exchange of fire with terrorists in Bajaur District. The soldier, identified as Sepoy Shafiq Ur Rehman, fought bravely and succumbed to his injuries. The area was being sanitized to eliminate any remaining terrorists.


Two terrorists killed in operation in Bannu: Two terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation conducted by security forces in the Janikhel area of Bannu district. The slain terrorists were involved in terrorist activities, and weapons and ammunition were recovered from them.

Police officer opens fire on students, killing a girl: A police officer posted outside a school in Swat district opened fire on students, resulting in the death of a girl and injuries to several others. The constable was arrested, and an investigation is underway.


One terrorist killed, another apprehended in Bannu operation: Security forces conducted an operation in Domail area of Bannu, resulting in the killing of one terrorist and the apprehension of another after an exchange of fire. The operation was carried out based on intelligence information.


CTD arrests three terrorists in Peshawar operation: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested three terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Peshawar. The operation took place at Al-Haram Town Link Road, leading to the arrest of the terrorists and the recovery of weapons and ammunition.


A dispute over the demarcation of a coalmine in Dara Adamkhel led to a violent clash between two tribes, resulting in the death of 14 individuals and leaving three others injured. During an intelligence-based operation in Tank, a tragic incident occurred involving crossfire, resulting in the death of two soldiers, three militants, and a child. Additionally, three civilians were injured in the exchange of fire. The operation aimed to address security concerns in the area.


Two girls' schools in tehsil Mir Ali of North Waziristan were blown up by extremists late on Sunday night. According to reports, Government Girls Middle School Khasokhel and Girls Middle School Noor Jannat Gul were targeted in the attack. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. Security forces are currently conducting a search operation to apprehend the militants responsible for the act.


A blast occurred near a hotel on Peshawar's Ring Road, resulting in one fatality. The explosion took place in a motorcycle and left three individuals injured. The incident happened at a shop where the motorcycle was being repaired, and it was discovered that a 200-gram magnetic Improvised Explosive Device had been installed in the motorcycle.  


Three terrorists being transferred by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) were killed when unidentified assailants opened fire on them during their journey from Miranshah to Bannu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to a report by Aaj News. The security forces and CTD personnel successfully repelled the attack, resulting in the death of one attacker, while the others escaped. The slain terrorists were wanted in multiple serious cases. Unfortunately, one official sustained injuries during the incident. The attack highlights the ongoing security challenges faced by law enforcement agencies in combatting terrorism.
